Shrink sleeves, uncoated labels and corrugated board – there are a lot of applications in the market where many users have been searching for a solution enabling proofing on original substrate, but up until now nothing suitable was available.
The new FLEX PACK system was especially developed for “direct-to-substrate proofing” in the packaging sector and offers everything you need to produce perfect packaging proofs and mock-ups quickly, easily and cost-effectively.
We would like to introduce real substrate proofing solutions. Currently, the interest in this solution is growing rapidly and people are extremely interested in the system.
It does not require any special coating or intermediate film. The printer will directly print on your actual substrate, which you are using on an offset, flexo, or gravure machine.
Especially for anything flexible, since you can even print on extremely thin films, down to 8 µm, but also uncoated cartons, label stock, metal sheet etc.
Our XG special inks expand the gamut, i.e., OGB (Orange, Green & Blue), so the printer will be 8 colours - C, M, Y, K, O, G, B + White, to attain maximum Pantone and special color accuracy.
Ink is resistant to heat, stretching, and bending. The ink doesn’t crack easily, making it ideal for packaging prototyping. You can print on extremely thin films down to 10 µm, uncoated cartons, label stock, IML, Mattpet, metal sheet, art coated paper, greyback, food grade paper, texture paper etc. There is no limitation on the media type and no special coating is required before printing.
